At 28, after finishing college, grad school and spending four years in corporate America, I decided I was done. I quit my job at a Chicago public relations firm and moved to California to live and work at Ratna Ling Retreat Center.
Yoga was in and out of my life for seven years at that point. Sometimes I practiced multiple times per week, sometimes not for weeks in a row. I always recognized the many physical and mental benefits of the practice, and knew I wanted it in my life in a greater capacity. It wasn’t until I lived at Ratna Ling that I had the space and inspiration to begin teaching yoga and meditation classes.
Once I started teaching, I knew I was on the right path. In November 2016, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training program in Bali, Indonesia with Sadhana Yoga School. Since then, I have taught around the world, in Thailand, Spain, Portugal and Australia. I am currently living in Wisconsin, continuing on my journey to help others develop compassion and inner peace through awareness of both body and mind.

Rose has a calming presence that radiates through her voice and presence when she teaches. She’s a teacher that comes from a place of soul and not ego. She creates a very nourishing environment!
Rose’s classes were clear, direct and helped pull more out of me than I thought possible. She helped connect me directly to the teachings and I left every class energized and refreshed! Her teaching style is dynamic, gentle and unique.
Rose’s classes are amazing! She keeps it challenging in a way that makes me feel really capable and strong. It’s always a workout but it’s clear that she understands and wants to share the spirituality and insight that make yoga so much more than just a physical exercise.
